Branding and identity design for South Florida businesses

Azul Digital builds brand identities for businesses in Miami, Hialeah and Doral: a logo system, typefaces, colors and the rules for using them. You get files you can hand to any printer, signmaker or developer without having to explain them. Most identities take three to five weeks.

What do I actually receive?

A logo in every format anyone will ask you for, a defined typeface pairing, a color palette with exact values, and a written guide covering how they go together.

  • Primary logo, stacked and horizontal variants, and a single-color version for embroidery or vinyl
  • Vector source files, plus web and print exports already sized
  • Typefaces named with their licences, so your team can legally install them
  • Colors in HEX, RGB, CMYK and Pantone, because a printer will ask for the last two
  • A short brand guide, generally 8 to 14 pages, written to be read rather than admired

Why does the single-color version matter?

Because at some point someone will put your logo on a shirt, a van, an awning or an etched glass door, and gradients do not survive any of those.

A gradient mark that only works on screen quietly costs money later, when the sign shop redraws it themselves and your brand starts to drift. Building the flat version up front is cheaper than fixing six versions of it in two years. The same rules carry straight into a website build.

Do you redesign existing brands, or only start fresh?

Both, and the more common job is the second one: a business with a logo that works fine and no rules for anything else.

In that case the work is usually restraint rather than reinvention. We keep what customers already recognise, fix what breaks at small sizes, and write down the decisions that were only ever in someone's head.

How long does it take?

Three to five weeks for a full identity. The variable is not design time, it is how quickly decisions get made on your side.

We present a small number of directions rather than a wall of options, because a wall of options moves the decision to you without helping you make it.

Will it work in Spanish and English?

Yes. A name that reads well in one language can be awkward in the other, and in Miami-Dade both will be seen by the same customers.

We check taglines, letter spacing and any wordplay in both languages before a direction gets built out, the same way we handle bilingual copy, which is much cheaper than finding out after the signage is printed.

What does it cost?

Quoted flat per project, after a call. Cost is driven by how many applications the identity has to cover: a single storefront is not the same job as a fleet, a uniform and a packaging line.

The number in the proposal is the number on the invoice. Print and production are billed by the vendors doing them, directly to you.

Bring the awkward version of your logo

The one on the van, or the one someone redrew. Thirty minutes is usually enough to tell you whether you need a rebuild or just the rules written down.
